- StoryBoard Use the StoryBoard to re-arrange and edit Chapters and Scenes.
- Web Links It's easy to add links between sections. Imagine you're describing the heroine of you story and mention their child-hood home. A link between the two would be helpful. Use web links to link to web pages.
- Writing Targets Use writing targets to check how many words you have written or how long you have been writing each day. Set the target hours and words to any values you like. After you start WriteItNow will keep a note of elapsed time and words written.
- Writing Prompts Writing Prompts are sets of useful prompts which can help you create characters, locations or plan your novel. You can edit the existing prompts, create your own sets or download new sets from our web-site.
- Snapshot System WriteItNow can save a snapshot or revision of your story each time you save it. If necessary you can restore your story from any of these snapshots.
- Full Screen Editor Use this when you want as much of the screen for writing as possible. Most of the editor is available for editing text. Only a small section at the top is used for controls.
Version 4 runs on PCs with XP, Vista or Windows 7 and Macs with Java 1.5 or higher.
